Hello, I am Michael Hayes, the founder of You Can Too Inc. Currently, I work as a Legal Administrator in the United States Army and have dedicated over 14 years of active duty service. I founded You Can Too Inc. in May of 2019 to be able to provide teenagers with mentorship opportunities as they traverse the complex road of becoming young adults. I am a lifelong learner that is currently a doctoral candidate in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology degree program with Liberty University. My research will concentrate on organizational culture and the effects of mentorship as it relates to company positioning and recruiting of people from impoverished or underprivileged backgrounds. I also hold my masters in Management and Leadership with a graduate certificate in Project Management from Webster University. I attained my undergraduate degree from Troy University concentrating in Sociology. I am blessed to be the husband to an immensely talented wife, Kimberly. We share three children, Mykah, Skylar and Nehemiah. My eldest child is currently a freshman attendingEast Carolina University majoring in Entrepreneurship. My ultimate goal in life is to be the mentor that so many like myself failed to have when they were growing up.
Hello, I am Andre S. Johnson, a Senior McAfee Endpoint Security Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton and a proud Board Member and Advisor at You Can Too Inc. Prior to my current position I served in the United States Army for 12 years with two combat deployments. I currently hold and Advanced Cyber Security Certificate from the University of Phoenix, a Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services, and a Security+ certification from CompTIA. I am a husband to a beautiful wife Porche Johnson, and three beautiful children, Jeremiah, Lauren, and Taylor. I Joined You Can Too Inc. because I believe the children are our future. Although I love where I am in life, I feel I could’ve accomplished a lot more in life sooner if I had a roadmap and dedicated mentors to help guide me. I pray that I can be that difference, not only in my children’s life, but also the life of other children that will help shape the future.
Hello, I am Derron Lee. I was born in Washington D.C. and raised by a young single mother. As the eldest sibling I was charged with learning to cook, clean and be responsible for myself and my younger siblings. This foundation is what started my journey into selflessness. My time in the Army coupled with the critical position of being a father I learned that mentorship can have a direct influence on success. I currently work as a corporate security leader. My passion for giving and wanting to see others succeed is deeply embedded in me. Empathy allows me to see myself in others and ultimately drives me to want to help.
