To give black and brown children positive examples, mentorship and necessary funding - the compass, direction and torch to make the choice in their critical teen years to succeed.
Our History
You Can Too Inc. was founded in May of 2019 after becoming aware of the lack of active, non-profit work being done in this sector within our community. We not only serve as role models and mentors but also offer assistance in the form of financial aid for college entrance exams and application fees. In order to be in a position to provide such funding, we have persistently considered and put into action a wide variety of community-based strategic approaches that provide an opportunity to fellowship with the families in which we serve.
Our Team
Our remarkable team is composed of three young veterans and a military spouse who are committed to assisting and uplifting teens in their community. As a result of the experiences they have had as parents, spouses, sisters, and brothers, Michael, Andre, Derron, and Aleena have developed a deeper appreciation for the significance of giving back to those in need and have taken their convictions and put them into action.
